Vararam Users....Specific Install Question, Please Help?!
I've already removed the deflector, fan shroud, stock airbox, etc :)
I don't understand the part about (directly from vararam's website):
"Z06 cars, remove the sheet screws from screen assembly and reverse factory tab location (2) tabs on each side. "
That's the part I don't get....what do they mean by "reversing the tabs?"
Do they mean flip them over, or install them on the top bolts?
Please help....I'm confused :D

The two clips on the bottom have screws on them. From the factory the screw heads are towards the center of the air intake area and the threads face down. You cannot slide the ram tubes on if the screw threads face down. You reverse the bottom clips & screws so that the screw heads are towards the bottom of the car and the threads go up into the air intake. This will allow the tubes to slide on. I also painted my screws black to help camouflage them since you can see them from through the screens in the front.
This pic shows the screws reversed.

Enjoy.
Be careful when bolting on the ram tubes. If you tighten the bolts too much you can pierce the bumper. You do not really need to tighten those ram tube bolts all that much because the air bridge also supports the system.
There is also a third bolt way on the outside of each air intake that can be used to supply additional support to the tubes. This bolt is currently used to attach the parking lights to the nose. You pull the stock parking light bolts (1 each side), slide the tubes on and then replace the stock parking light bolts.
If you decide to not use these bolts on the outside of each ram tube make sure the tabs on the outer edges of the ram tubes slide over the bolts. I did use these bolts on my car. I was able to reach the bolts by removing the access covers underneath the brake cooling ducts.
