Welcome to the family. There have been soooo many polls and discussions on air intakes it will make your head spin (do a search and youÕll see what I mean), and members have very strong opinions on what works the best. A year ago I was first going to go with a Blackwing and then changed my mind to something else, and then changed again. I finally went with the zip tie mod ($2.00) because with the ZÕs intake screens (unlike the closed front of the standard C5) I wasnÕt sure I would get a lot more with the big buck options. There are some very knowledgeable people here, so besides the answers you get here, do a search and youÕll get even more info to help you make the decision thatÕs right for you.

Welcome to the forum! I had a Blackwing on my C-5 non Z06 but

Yep black is faster. The Halltech's are awesome looking pieces that are well made, and have dyno numbers on stock Z06s, with great customer service too. OTOH Blackwing is good too, do a search and read for yourself. And welcome to the club.

nice color choice :) Actually the yellow ones are fastest ... the 'lighter' color improves the power-to-weight ratio. :)

Got my on the road here in the UK at the beginning of May and the odometer passed 10,000 miles yesterday.
Man is the Z an awesome car, it is fantastic. The speed, the handling, sthe stopping the list goes on.
Took mine to an airfield and ran it on a timed run over 1.25 miles and got it thru the 1/4 in 12.66 seconds and top speed at the end of the 1.25 miles of 169.4 MPH. This is with the carbon air bridge and the Blackwing.
If you are gonna fit a Blackwing make sure you get the correct connector with it as the MAF diameter changed for 2003 and my Blackwing would not fit when I got mine. I had to fabricate a connector from 4" silicon hose.

Just got finished installing EURO taillights & side markers. { I Like Em ! }
Lowered w/stock bolts. { NOT LOW ENOUGH } HOW LOW DID YOU GO ?
Leaning towards black Z06 Motorsports wheels.
Gotta have front plate in MO.
