Am I the only Z waver?
Seems like when I drove my C3 or C4, fellow Vette owners almost always waved.
I find it's very rare to have a C5 owner wave, and I even passed two Z06s yesterday afternoon - both looked at me like "who the h%$# is he?" when I waved.
I've seen a few posts in the C4 threads about how C5 owners don't wave.
Any fellow Z06 owners besides me trying to save the wave? :seeya

I wave...its one of the cool things about owning a vette. I don't know if you can generalize and peg it to the type of car.....I have many 3rd and 4th gen Vette owners in my area that don't wave. But on the other hand, there are many that can sit and talk for hours about their/your car.

I almost always wave to every vette new and old unless I my eyes are fixed on the road or I am in the middle of a shift or something. :seeya

I try to wave when not busy driving. I agree with you that many times I get that puzzled look from the driver of the other vette. Typically newer ones.
I think with the broad appeal of the C5 many new/first time owners don't understand "Save the wave". I know I didn't when I bought my first vette.
Just keep waving and they will come around.

I wave at all Vettes but I agree that C5 owners do not always return the wave. Keep waving and maybe they will come around. :seeya

Hey, thats one of the things i mentioned in my post on this forum. It was about how nice to see that Vette Wave again, here in Dallas, i've had men and women give that little wave. Something i've missed the last 15 years.. Must be new owners going "who in the heck is that guy waving at"?? LOL

I alway wave, Keep the faith and keep trying. I just assume when they don't wave back that they are just driving a car and really know nothing about what it really means to drive a vette! :yesnod:

I do notice, however that a lot don't. It is getting better, I had a BIG wave from another Z the other day. Just keep on :seeya ing

I got waves from everybody in my :seeya yellow :seeya C5 but hardly anybody waves at me in the :nonod: black :nonod: one.
I'm still waving :seeya but don't get many in return. :confused:

I always wave but very few wave back any more. I think a lot of C5 buyers don't know the history so they think we're crazy for waving at them :sad: I am determined to keep waving and not worry about it.
