Traction Control Active on new '03
Uh,what the $#%! With 500 miles on the odometer, I pushed the pedal to the floor and rowed through some gears...OH MY GOD! Is my car OK? Traction Control came on twice! And I was going straight. Should I take it back to the dealer or what? :eek:

uh, no....
Try turning it off next time you plan on flogging on it - so the tires can spin without the computer trying to bust your bellz!
Make sure you can control the spin.................. :seeya

read the manual.............. :yesnod:
Put the car in Competetion Mode.....do not drive it with the AH/TC in the total OFF position......until YOU are sure you can handle it.......
Even then, I do not reccommend doing so.......... :blueangel:

I say that is UNACCEPABLE. What you need to do is to take an old thick blanket and jam it into the intake and always start in 3rd.

Take it back to the dealer ASAP and get back in your 2000 A4 Coupe, cause your not ready for a Z06. LOL :) :D
Its only going to get stronger with a few more miles and mods. Enjoy the ride and leave TC & AH on. :cheers:
