Default My Z06's weight

Just like the title says I weighed my Z06. Its an 02, with Texas Speed longtubes and catless x-pipe, and a Blackwing intake. Otherwise it was completely stock. 3,020 lbs.

I'm not entirely sure but I want to say it was about 1/4 of a tank.

Your guess is better than mine. I bought the car with them on. All I know is they are junk. They seem to be scored from heat.

Mine weighed 2980 with like 1/5 tank stock except vararam intake

They don't make cars this light anymore- not even close

Where did you go- scrap yard or gravel pit?

I have a bunch of little stuff that adds up.

Wheels/tires are 49 lbs each front and 59 lbs each rear.
C6 Z51 rotors are bigger and heavier than stock, not sure how much.
Corsa exhaust and x-pipe are heavier than stock Ti
Ron Davis radiator with engine and trans oil coolers add weight plus the pump for the trans cooler, all of the lines, and the extra fluids
The custom paint probably adds 5-10 lbs too

I'm not surprised to be significantly heavier than stock, but I wasn't expecting 150 lbs. I'd always seen the stock weight listed as 3118.

3118 is with a full tank of gas I believe.

last time I weighed mine it was 3150lbs with me in it and a half tank of gas... I had heavier exhaust and tires (rims weighed about the same as stock wheels)... since then I have added c6z brakes and a blower kit so maybe another 150lbs but still lighter than most other comparable cars and with a lot of power

I weighed mine some years back and it came to 3160 lbs. That was with a full tank of gas. I topped it off and drove 2 blocks to scales at the airport.

Actually I went to a grain bin place. They have a free scale for semi's, but allow anyone to use it.

I weighed mine a little while ago on a CAT scale.

Me in it. full tank of gas. 18 x 10.5 chrome z06 knockoffs with pilot sports. Assorted cans of wax and window cleaner and rags. Tire compressor. My laptop bag. 3400 exactly to the pound.

3020 wow! I'm surprised. I'm skeptical about whether the local truck/ dump scale is all that accurate.

Measured on my Longacre corner weighting scales, mine weighs 3130 without me in it, 1/2 tank of fuel, harness bar, race seat, LG longtubes, no cats, stock Ti, and 17x11 / 17x12 CCW Classics.

Thanks...I'm hoping it will go 8.90s in winter air...

Its a porker for sure.. And that's on my light wheels (CCWs)

When its on the stock chrome speedlines with 275/305s its another 60lbs heavier.. So 3660lbs in street trim.

A few months after I weighed it on the CAT scales, I weighed it at the drag strip with in full street trim with a little more fuel and it was 3670lbs... So pretty consistent with the CAT scale.

I really which I could lighten it back up but......
