Who has roll raced a 2013-2014 GT500?
Curious what power numbers are necessary to edge out a 2013-2014 gt500 from 60mph+. I know our cars are about 600lbs lighter, and a stock 13-14 gt500 makes ~580rwhp. Then there are factors like gearing, and aero.
Does it take 520rwhp + to hang?

I'd be willing to bet any c5 over 500 rwhp could handle a gt500. Much too much weight in the mustang. I played with an older one once, never really a fair race but I don't think he was any faster from the 0-70 range. This is at 375rwhp for me, so he still had a big power advantage. Christ did that thing sound good though.

Well.... A C6 Z06 traps about the same in the 1/4 mile as a newer GT500 so you can go from there. You already know what kind of power and torque a C6 Z06 makes. 505hp 470lbft torque.

I did not but my bro played with a 2012 heavily modified GT500..I realize that a 2013-2014 makes more power from the factory but, this one had a ported blower, pulley, and lots of other things. Guy claimed ~720 rwhp..my bro's car is an 03 Z06 Fast 102, cam, made 455 rwhp..from 30-120 the GT500 only had him by a car.

Melting Slicks
at 450 will take down a stock GT500
at 500 you will beat bolt on 2013s in the 630-640whp range
at 560ish, you should beat full bolt on, E85, 2013s. they typically make around 750
This is 500 vs 637

There is a local dude who has a heavily modified GT500 that was trapping in the upper 140's @ our last RR (1/2mi) event.... his car did pretty well... til it got hot!

Thanks, Weight and aero plays a big part, clutch was retiring, hence the falling off on every granny shift.
The 2013 GT500 has better gearing with the TR6060, what works for me is going the lowest practical speed in 3rd, and power through it. because they're geared for 200 and only shift once, maybe twice from a roll.
C5 Z06, cammed, Fast 92, 150shot
Both these 2013 made over 760. typically a 138-142mph trap setup
Heat kill them
Ran out of bottle on this one. but you get the idea, a Stock motor 2013 will max out before a C5 Z does.

I think I can shed light on your question. I have a F430, Z06 and 2014 Gt500. Im no way bias, love them all.
My z06 and f430 are stock. The Gt500 has 709 hp at the wheel due to bolt on's
The Gt500 litterally rockets aways from both cars under any circumstance. The instant torque from the super charger and off course the bolt on's really woke it up. My best guess is the GT500 out paces the z06 by an easy 6 cars from 20 to 120+, and beats the F430 by a little more.
I have a car pal and that has a 2013 procharged 680 rwhp corvette, I typcially get away by a car length or 2 from 20-120, then he comes by me slowly.
last, my stock 2014 gt500 was about a dead push with the z06 give or take.
No flames, please this was my exerience on my cars,
Only for reference; I have raced a zr1, z06, zl1, Porsche 911 turbo and managed to hold them off.maybe good cars and drivers, dont know...
Im hoping to tangle with a GTR or F458 someday.
Enjoy,
DB

Good buddy of mine has a 14 GT500, my neighbor has a 13 GT500.
I'm putting down 437 RWHP, vs their stock. From a dig vs their launch control I pull ahead until i shift 3rd, half way through 3rd they pass me, by the end of 4th they have about a car IIRC.
The 14 GT500 is now over 800 RWHP, so I don't even bother. I'll only race him from a dig, and only until i shift to 3rd then I get out of it and say I won. Too much weight, you can almost always get em from a dig for a little while.
