Im new to the LS engines, Ive talked to a tuner, and there are few mods to be done for the LS6 computer to communicate to the LS3 engine.

There is no way you will be able to drive that without a tune. The ASA cam is the GM racing cam and will require someone really good to tune that thing in for street duty. FYI, you will also need an LS2 or aftermarket throttle body in case you did not know.

Because LS3 throttle body opens in the opposite direction that previous LS series do. If you use it and go past half throttle the computer will go into limp mode until you reset it. Then it will continue to do it. I have an LS3 and know first hand.
