Default air intake

Hello all,

I just installed Vararam V2 air intake on my 2002 C5Z.

Vendor told me I do not need to re-tune the car so I purchased it and installed it but after three days of driving, check engine light came out.

How do I get rid of this light? Do I need to re tune the car?

Yr help is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Pull the codes from the DIC. Also did you retain the stock MAF location and is your MAF screened or not?

I do not know since my local shop did the installation for me.

Does MAF sensor need to be cleaned out before the installation?

I am new to this.

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...th+c5+corvetteDo a google search on C5 and Vararam for alot of reasons it may throw codes. Most are air leaks with the connections.Others can be an over oiled filter contaminating the MAF. Also a screened MAF will tend to work better. Also here is a link to pull your codes. http://www.stengel.net/diccodes.htm
