Lets nail this down - from the responses above I recommend Friday morning, 29 August at 10:00 AM at the factory parking lot (first one on the left as you enter, we can adjust if needed when we get there), rain or shine, and do this...somebody bring a camera...a good one!
radar502 - your post states you'll be in town Wed/Thur...think you can stay until Friday morning? IROKNC5 doesn't get in town until late Thursday.
Also, recommend we each make up a couple of 3x5 cards with info about the gathering/photo to leave with other Z16s you see around BG before Friday.

We SHOULD be able to make 10:00AM at the plant parking lot. We're doing the 8:30AM Plant Tour anyway. Hey guys, I shoot motorsports and automotive portraiture and will have all my equipment with me on this trip... even though the week is totally a vacation for us, Sandi and I would be more than happy to help capture some decent images of the group. Shame we can't get a hi-reach so I could bucket up for some top-down work. When we're at home, I carry a ladder to my shoots on single cars. Still planning Friday Morning.. We're confirmed now by the Plant for a tour starting about 9:00AM Can't predict end time and back to car but we'll come back around to the south side of the plant as soon as we get free... Will scope out the area ahead of time looking for a place we can get high enough with the camera to make some of our group shots more interesting. There's a lot of really cool industrial background we may be able to incorporate.. We'll also be looking for an angle where the plant front offices entrance might play into a background. We've been lazy on monitoring the museum's caravan chat pages so we're not really networked on this via chat. Our group is coming up from Central Florida, but not fully following the caravan agenda as most of us have been up on these before - they get rather trying, even frustrating at times. Hope all travel safe and we'll see as many as can make it on Friday morning. We'll spread the word best we can to Z16'ers we see before...
I updated the folks on the Caravan Chat to help promote the photo shoot. We will also have some coupes and convertibles joining in as well. So hopefully we can snap a few photos of all the Z16's and then incorporate the Z15's.

Thanks, Bill for suggesting this group photo. It turned out better than I expected. It was good to see the Z15s there as well. I took a lot of pics that day and am now looking forward to seeing Howard's shots. The blast up I 65 afterwards was a great idea. Hopefully we can get these cars back together again in 10 years for a 20th reunion of the Z16.
