Is there an efficient way to remove the stock TI Exhaust with the car on jack stands? I have no access to a lift and I have the car up in the air as far as it can go. Looks like the next step is to cut the exhaust but I really don't want to go this route. I am literally 6" away from clearing the passenger side over. In looking at the axle shaft, it may be worthwhile to remove it to give me the clearance I need but I would greatly appreciate any insight on this. TIA

I pulled mine off on jack stands. Needed a couple of 2x10's under each rear jackstand. Of course you have to have the wheels off and the sway bar. Each exhaust will rotate down and towards it's adjacent wheel well. Took some time but it can be done. Would hate to have to cut the Ti exhaust...

I did it on jack stands. Removed the rear sway bar, and had the car at an uncomfortable height. Be careful.

Did it once on jackstands, wouldn't do it again. 2nd time I asked the regional section on LS1tech if anyone had a lift I could borrow.

I removed mine intact in my garage on jackstands when I had the bypass mod done. It was easier than I thought it would be. I did use the larger size jack stands for the rear and had the front on ramps. You do have to get the back up fairly high to make room for it but it was fairly safe and easy imo.

you can pull them on jack stands just need to get the car higher then 31 inches off the ground!

Managed to put 3 2x10 sections of board on the jack and this give me enough room to get the TI's off with no problem. Callaway Double D exhaust is now on....
