Default Z06 Partitions? Is there a company that everyone prefers?

Looking to pull the trigger on one. I prefer just the partition with the Corvette emblem. Figure no need for it to say "Z06" has that's already on the car.

I know that southerncarparts.com has 1 partition. Are there any others that anyone thinks is better?

Pics and link?

I looked in the thread that references the Z06 common questions but that is outdated with links that don't even work.

Can you post your personal one? I'm curious to see actual photos of one.

I bought the southern car parts divider. Very well made 1/2" MDF board, good match to carpet and excellent fit. I can post a pic tomorrow if you want.

With the upcoming performance upgrades, I'm thinking about this as well....just didn't know if there was more than 1 option

Please if you can. This is a must do mod. What exactly is MDF board?

Here is one I made myself from MDF, which is a plastic kind of material hardware stores sell in their lumber section. I made it a tight fit so no screws or Velcro was necessary. It is covered with the stock Corvette carpet and works very well. My Z06 has Borla exhaust on it and this cuts the noise quite well. I also made a package tray to hold drinks, CDs and other things.

+1 for southern car parts.

I installed (aka spent 5 seconds) the partition and vette tray two weeks ago. It fits very well and looks like it should have rolling out of the factory. It has definitely muffled interior noise from my LTs and corsa extremes. Acoustics sound better from the bose sound system. I am looking forward to a hot day to see if the AC is more efficient.

Looks terrific. I got the corvette emblem on mine. Looks good when looking through the windshield. corvette emblem smack daddy between two Z06 seats.

Well worth every penny. You get a whole lot in return for the cost.

I'd say go with SCP over ebay. Of course, things are less costly when a 3 year old in Taiwan makes them....but it's nice knowing the parts you are putting on your American icon are made by professionals here in America.

Any pictures? And how does the material match the OEM Carpet?

All of them look the same from inside, the reason i chose the ebay one is because cheaper and looks a lot better with the embroided flags instead of the cheap stickers some put

I am sorry but your response is pure ignorance as the ones on ebay are made in bowling green, kentucky..yes yeeeehaw where the corvette is build...do your homework first.
As for the southerncarparts, i would not buy a cheaply made panel with a z06 sticker on it and be charged sooo much money..the ones of ebay have very nice stitched quality work.

My main reason for the eBay one was weight. i want to keep the car light and i heard particle board/plastic vs a foam and went eBay.

Im sure the SCP stops more sound, the ebay one weighs 2 pounds tops vs 20 i've heard/read of with others.

My z was 2072 with 1/3rd of a tank at the drags last trip out.

I've never weighed her full but simple math puts it at 3050 roughly.

I agree they are pretty light, but they look sweet too, it looks more oem than the SCPs i have seen

I got mines from ebay with the zo6 emblem. .I paid $100 for it and it is very good quilty but honestly it did not reduce exaust noise not one bit at all.granted I have a big cam with no cats but I thought it'll help with reducing the noise just a tad bit and i was so wrong lol, it dose look nice though..I might dynamat the whole trunk area just to lower the exauat noise in the cabin just a lil bit.
Ill try and get some pics tommorow. .the ebay ones are well made and the quality of it is very excellent. .
