Compareitviely yes, but not collector rare, but hold on to anything long enough and it will be.
If you want a rare Vette that is still affordable, and I think will be worth a lot in the future, get a C4 Calloway B2K.

This. I see C6's everywhere, occasionally C7's, and if I see a C5 it's typically a regular model. Not often do I see a C5 Z driving around but that doesn't mean it's a rare car.
I do typically see a few at the track every time I go though.

I too have one of the Canadian optioned 01 Black C5Z's... Even have a block heater... Wasn't many of them either... Can't ever see getting rid of mine.
I did a VIN search once when I bought my used 2002 Z06. It's Millennium Yellow with the Canadian Delivery option. There were only 8 made like it. It now lives in Southern California and only has 16,000 miles. I've never seen another like it here. It seems pretty rare to me. I suppose in the final analysis, how much you can sell it for will define the "rarity" of a car.

As the young punks get a hold of these car's they will become more rare as they wreck them.
