c5z w/ 10.5 front/rears 275/35F and 295/35R
i had searched for some pictures a while back with the 10.5 OE rear at all four corners with 275/35 fronts and 295/35 rears. i usually came up empty.
anyway, i just bought that combo so i figured i'd post it up. the PS2's grip like nothing else i've had yet. the 275/35 has a slight stretch on the wheel but will work well when i lower the car a bit more.
steering feel is very nice. i've had not TC/AH issues. i wasn't concerned with that anyway as i usually turn it off, but i forgot a few times and was drive the car HARD with no issues...
if anyone wants a more specific pic just ask...

Awesome - I've been wanting to do the same thing! is your Z stock height?
Do you know the tire diameter on the 275-35-18?
I'm thinking a 285-30-18 would work too?
thanks

off the top of my head i don't recall, but i had looked it up on those online tire calculators. a 285/30 would work too, but the pilot PS2 was available in 275/35 and 295/35. i didn't see matched michelin pairs in 285/30 and 295/35
additionally, i ran a square 295/35 setup for a while and it felt very heavy in the steering and VERY twitchy/wandering feeling over the road. i wanted to tray something closer to the OE 265 width.

It looks like the fender gap is bigger up front than it is in the rear; maybe that's a part of the visual problem.
Regardless, it turned out great! If I wanted to run stock wheels, that's exactly what I would do: 18s all around to take advantage of the best tires. Are you planning to stuff some big brakes in there now that you have the clearance?

i can't tell a difference driving it I doubt (handle and feel). i wanted the look and ability to stuff bigger brakes. i have (3) sets of C5z06 wheels laying around so I said why not...

More pics of this set up on different cars the better as height difference can have vary and have a visual impact.
thanks

Any of you guys experience rubbing in the front with this setup? On my c6 the rim hits the upper control arm at full lock when on the jack. Anyone else notice anything like this?

To be honest it looks odd because the front wheel is stretched which gives it a rubber band look compared to the back. It gives the illusion that the front rim is larger then the rear because the sidewall differences with the larger rims... Just my opinion...

i believe the illusion is a result of the front of the car being very light opposed to a rather bulky rear which makes the entire rear wheel look smaller. also, my car is sitting a bit high.
lowered a bit more and lowered evenly should eliminate the illusion. with the stock 17's up front the sidewall of the front tire was taller than the rear, which also looks odd.
