Default Borla's customer service is great!!

Ok so I had a few problems with my Borla exhaust system. For the life of me the tips just didn't want sit close to the top of the bumper it would sit almost 5 inches from the top of the tips to the bottom of the bumper they just look goofy . I had washers/spacers/shims trying to get it to fit and it just would sit right. So I emailed Borla and told them my problem. I was talking to a man name Steve Williams. He was the most helpful person I have ever talked to and he wanted to make things right. He offered to get me a replacement exhaust system of any kind no charge to me. He offered to get me the Borla ATAK kit. So it is on the way. Just thought id share. Im happy to see there is still great customer service out there. Thank you so much Steve Williams. I will for sure recommend Borla.

That's really awesome!! I wish more companies realized that happy customers generate untold amounts of additional business and that a customer who feels he was upgraded to an even better product as a result of a problem with one of their products will likely be a very vocal, staunch supporter of the company and products as seems to happening in this thread!!

I had been leaning toward the Borla S-Types for my next exhaust and have been looking at GHL and Mid America's Quad Power as well. I think you just made my decision for me!!!! Thanks, man!!

Kudos Borla!!

I just called them for the same reason on my new straight pipe installation. Was yours by chance that same kit? They are 5-6" off of the bumper cut out and look silly. I used shims to drive home but they are trying to figure out what is going on. So far Don C. is great as well! Go Borla!

Yup it sure was. I had washers, shims, the whole thing. Couldnt get the to sit right. Only way it would is if I went to have the rebent, but all that time and labor I would have just bought a custom exhaust. So im happy that Borla is replacing my system. I have yet to get the new exhaust system. but it has only been 2 days. So i hope they follow throuh. Im sure they will.

^ Interesting... I have installed many of cat-backs and never had an issue. Wonder if something in their manufacturing is causing an issue. I will be sending them pictures today and see what they have to say. Don is going to work with Steve as well since he just went through this with you.

Glad you posted this!

^Nada yet. I called Don C. this morning around 11am PST and he said he was working on it with Steve and they are searching for a 'solution' to the issue. Either way what I have in my possession isn't going to fit right without major modifications. I also emailed Maryland Speed to let them know they should hold any orders for these systems until this is resolved.

What are you waiting for? I thought they agreed to ship you a ATAK kit and its on the way?

Yes they agreed to ship it out but they didn't give me a tracking number. I emailed Steve and
It will go out tomorrow.

I also had great service with Borla's Corporation while back, when I had issue, and sent me complete new system at no charge, and even paid for installations and local shop.
That's service, and this why I buy Borla's over anybody else.
