The 96 was traded for a 2003 Z06 with 28k miles on it a few days ago. I'm really enjoying the road manners of the Z, but will always miss the power of my ol' 96 383. My wife likes it because we can actually talk and hear each other in it. It is completely stock, except for paint and wheels. I have no plans for modifications, been there, done that...
And yes.... it is Atomic Orange....
Here are a few poor quality pictures. I'll get better pictures later. These pictures make the car look more orange than it really is.

Nice. i like the AO on the C5. Does it at least have a short shifter? I would think you might like that change..... If the LS6 isnt fast for you, you must have had one helluva an engine in the 96 eh?

Maybe a short shifter as this is easy and can be changed at any time...
Yes, the 96 was a beast... forged, ported head and intake, very lumpy cam, N2O, etc.... I think that the road manners of the Z will make me forget about it!

Looks like they didn't cut corners on the color change paint job either (door jambs done, engine bay, etc).
Yep, everything was taken apart to be painted. Even the underside of the hood and truck lid looks as glossy as the upper side. I need to work on hood alignment a little more. The only thing that does not work is the passenger speaker, no buzzing, static, nothing. I think the connections need to be worked a bit...
I can tell you, this one will remain stock. The only thing I considered was a different exhaust, but the stock Z exhaust has a nice sound, so I'm sticking with what it has.
Thanks everyone, the color is at minimum a conversation piece!
