Headlight Pivot Bolts

Headlight Pivot Bolts
Well I went to install my RadioFlyer ACA style headlights today and realized whoever had my headlights off screwed the pooch on them when the passenger side back together. One of the bolts was a bolt with two nuts locking each other in place and no nylon pivot sleeve. The other has two bolts on it but it is at least the original bolt. Not sure if the nylon pivot sleeve is in there yet as I realized my t20 is gone.
So so can I get another set from anywhere? I know JW Motorsports used to sell them but they are gone now. Am I at the mercy of fleabay and paying 32.00 for a simple bolt?

One last thing does th busing go in the pivot so that the frame and housing pivot on it? Or does it go out for the bolt or nut to ride on? I took them both apart and can't remember.
I have the one side back together and put them in the middle of the pivot point.

Well got the nylon insert, I need to bolts now. They look like 10-32 flanged nuts but the only ones I can find are seareted on the bottom or the nylon locking kind.
I can't see paying 60.00 for two used bolts and nuts...any ideas?

I also replaced the pivot pin and c-clip with a clevis pin and small cotter pin on both sides also from ACE. I hate paying the "Corvette Tax" on items you can source generically.

What size
Yeah, I replaced all of mine with shoulder bolts from Ace Hardware, think it ran about $4 or less per bolt. They come in different lengths. Worked great and have been for the past 4 years.

Do you remember what size/thread count you bought?

Spilt bushings for the pivot bolts are available at McMaster Carr P/N 1281N12 at the link below:

One of the pivot bolts and nut fell off. Found the bolt and nut but the bushing was lost. Replaced the bushings for both bolts with the McMaster parts and they fit perfectly.

This is great info, especially when it provides us choices. I don't know how much is shipping for the McMaster, but at $2.52 it seems more attractive than the eBay one at $4.95 + $4.32 s/h
