Default Feedback - Super Slim HID Xenon Kit

Hey Guys,

I just got my HID conversion kit in today (5,000k) off the big auction site (supervtec). Is there any difference between this "Slim" Xenon ballast and the others being offered? Anyone have any experience with this kit?

I'll be installing the kit later on this afternoon.

Note: I am not associated with the vendor nor do I sell these. just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this product

I had the non slim Xentec kit on my GSXR and never had problems with it. Be sure and let us know if you have to flick your high beams in order to get both ballasts to fire....

I just fnished installing them and everything is working good. I only purchased the lowbeams. The headlights close and open with no hesitation or the need of flickering the high beams at all (thank god).

I used DJMotorsportAccessories instructions and followed them to a T

I'll see if I can take some pictures later on tonight.

So you haven't had to flick your high's to get the lights to move up or down?? They work perfectly like stock?

Also, in your opinion, is there any point in doing the highs as well or are the HID lows bright enough?

Looks good! I like how you painted your light shrouds to match the car to

Luckly, I dont have to flicker the high beams at all to make the HID low beams function like stock.

One thing, when I installed these I did them one side at a time and then tested it to see if it worked as well as stock then moved on to the other side. (I'm not using a relay harness either)

I dont think the high beams are neccessary besides if you do happen to have trouble with your HID's then the high beams can act as a fail safe.

Are there problems with the heat dissipation into the headlight assembly? Read somewhere that HID assemblies are specifically designed to accomodate this.

To be honest I really couldnt give you a definite answer but I assume they dont have any dissipation issues. I've had them on for about a week (in the rain and dry weather) and they seem to be working with no issues.
