Default Sirius radio?

I was at a local audio shop and was asking about Sirius radio for my 02 Z and they said to wait on install because they have a new plug coming out that will work with factory Bose system without adding a tuner. Anybody else no anything about this wonder plug?

I believe this is urban legend. I have been hearing this for over a year now.

The installer I talked to said no plug. But he also told me to wait for the new Clarion tuner - Says it's the best yet. I'm waiting.

They had a Clarion tuner there that looked good,it was black w/ a **** on it to tune. This would look good w/ the interior and the gooseneck install to the pass. bucket. The installer (owner) just came back from a CS show where he seen the plug for our cars.I'll wait alittle longer and see.

What I don't understand w/ the plug is,is this going to make the factory Bose system display the title's on the factory radio. I can't see how a plug would do this. I guess we"ll see........

thats weird. I know they make a connection that allows you to add a tuner to the cd changer. I dont see how the system would display the titles on the radio.

I seen that sirus radio and liked it-it matches the rest of the interior well. Was wondering if it would fit in the ashtray.I have my V1 hidden detector there but would move it.Does the ashtray door close? Do you have any photos of the antenna and where did they mount it?

I have the GM10-AUX converter. It converts the CD changer harness to RCA plugs. It works well.
