Default Orange peel in factory paint?

I have a 99 that is Black. I've noticed orange peel in the paint job. Is this normal? Paint looks great and glossy otherwise

Look at almost every production line car. They all mostly have it. My wife's BMW had it, my trailblazer has it. The darker the car the more you can notice it.

It's due to EPA regulations and machine painting. It's on almost all factory cars...

Have it sanded/buffed by a quality bodyshop and you'll be happy

GM paint sucks.

My 01 Z has runs on the front bumper.

I love my Z, but for how much it cost, you would think that they could have done a little better job on the paint.
