Default Euro taillight question..

I am interested in the True Euro tail lights Red /Amber ..Red/clear.

I wanted to know if on the true euro versions do the amber and the clears blink when the turn signals are on..or does the red/amber only blink.

A forum vender sells all the three combinations Red/amber....Red/clear

and finally I assume True euro ..Red/amber..Red/clear.

I need to know if the true euro version blinks both?

thanks Chuck

The euros, whether clear or amber, blink just the clear or amber portion. The red portion is just for the brake light. This is assuming the proper wiring harness adapter is used which converts it to two single filament bulbs instead of one dual filament.

Ok ..I see, so whether the true euros ( amber/clear parts) will both blink depending on what harness the vender is selling you.

In europe, they have a wider plate, which means you no longer have reverse (backup) lights. This is why there is a clear.

When turning, only the amber should flash.

Now vendors in the US have made the harness for turn signals only, since we still have the reverse lights at the sides of the plate. So you can either choose the white versions and use amber bulbs (or clear and look ricey) or use the amber lenses.

..And as a bonus the red/clears seem to be significantly cheaper than the red/ambers. I have no idea why.
