Default rear end ratio question

I have a 2000 coupe mn6. I bought the car used last year, just trying to figure out what axle I have. In 6th gear at 67mph the tach is at 1500rpm, can anyone charm in please. Thanks in advance.

Probably a 3.15 gear... but to be sure there is a gear ratio / part # tag on the backside of the rear end... upper right hand corner as viewed from the rear.

Unless the rear end has been changed, all manual trans cars have a 3.42 ratio.

I have a 6speed coupe. All come with 3:42 gears. I am planning to switch to 3:90's.

My 3.90 is about 1650 @ 65 MPH. Prorating down to 1500 gives about 3.15 as Bill Reid said. Puzzling to me  if it started at 3.42 stock why would anyone change to 3.15?
I doubt if it was a A4 converted to MN6?
I dunno!

with 3.42's i always rememeber being at about 1100 rpm goin 50 mph in 6th gear, (basically just as slow as your engine can safley spin. But every c5 6 speed comes stock with 3.42's no other choices

Depends on tire size too or if PCM calibrated for different tire size than what you have and therefore affecting the speed indication.
