door won't close????????
2001 coupe, keep getting warning that door is not closed on drivers side however door is closed tight. Lights stay on in inside and constant chime warning me of open door. Any suggestions on what might be the problem? :confused:

There is a switch that is part of the door latch assembly, it's an input to the Driver's door module, it's telling the module that the door is not shut.
You probably need a new latch assembly.
Proper diagnosis will require removal of the door panel and/or a scan tool to check the DDM data list to see if the DDM sees the switch closed or open.
If the DDM sees the door switch closed it will tell the BCM to chime and the IPC to display a warning message on the DIC.
