Dear Corvetteforum.com Members,
We wanted to know if anyone would be interested in getting on a GP for Kooks Custom 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" long tube header kits.

I might be interested depending on what the pricing ends up being on a 1 3/4" set with off-road x-pipe.
Cheers!

Interested in a GP on Kooks Custom 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" Long Tube SS Header Kits??? (L.A.P.D.)
Is this a true bolt on all the way to the catback section ? The pictures I've seen are of the headers, cats w/ built in X-pipe which doesn't looks like it's long enough to extend all the way back to the catback section.

Guys,
Ok, here is the GP pricing if we can get at least 10 orders.
Your choice of 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" primaries. No difference in price on the tube size you choose.
97-04 C5/Z06 Fully Stainless Steel Kooks Complete Bolt-On Header Kit which includes high flow cats, mid-section and x-pipe.
97-04 C5/Z06 Fully Stainless Steel Kooks Complete Bolt-On OFF-ROAD Header Kit which includes OFF-ROAD Mid-Section and x-pipe.
If you have any questions or if you would like to get in on this GP, please post here on this thread letting us know.
Thanks!
Shawn

Re: Anyone Interested in a GP on Kooks Custom 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" Long Tube SS Header Kits?
Guys,
I am going to answer all of your questions.
John Shiels,
We have a dyno sheet before and after on a 2002 Z06, but we have to get it uploaded before we can post it here.
boblackhardtop,
The header kit is a complete bolt on kit and it comes with everything you will need to make it a bolt on package. It includes the headers, mid-section and x-pipe.
John's vette,
Dyno sheet is coming up today.

barkingowl,
We have the dyno sheet, but we are waiting for our web guy to upload it so we can post it for everyone to see.
It is a dyno sheet from a 2002 Z06.
It shows amazing before and after results.

98silverC5,
We have the before and after dyno sheet, but it hasn't been uploaded yet so we can get it posted.
Can anyone upload it for us?
Let us know and I will email the dyno sheet to you.
Thanks!

KOOKS
I know the results because I heard this 3 weeks ago when I was looking at these. I will wait and let them post it. The guy that did it works at KOOKS and he said these are the real numbers he got.
I am just waiting for my center section to come in, which it looks like now from tracking it, will be Monday the 24th  . My car has been in the doghouse/garage waiting for this 3" to 2 1/2' X-pipe¢er section. It wasn't Kooks Fault. I didn't order the center section until they were about to cut my custom catless/x-pipe center section apart, then I decided to do order the bolt in catless center section that just bolts right in:cheers:
I also think some of the gains you get are from removing the cats (which isn't any earthshattering new information that people can't already figure out) . Since my cats are already off, I will be happy with 15 or more RWHP, but since I got other mods at teh same time i won't be able to pinpoint the gains from JUST the KOOKS
That is where you forum guys come in. Let the results be heard :flag

Re: Anyone Interested in a GP on Kooks Custom 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" Long Tube SS Header Kits??
Guys,
With those gains being shown, we should have no problem hitting the 10 order mark on this GP and at the price we are offering these headers, it really turns out to be cheap horsepower!
