Default Quick Help - X-pipe???

I have a 02 Z06 with Stainless Works Headers and putting borlas on tomorrow. Is a magnaflow x-pipe good? Will it make it sound more aggressive? Need all opinions quick! thanks

I have the magnaflow x-pipe and it mellows out the exhaust sound. I lost most of the burble and all of the pop and dreaded jingle when I installed mine. I got some of it back when I took off the stock TI exhaust and replaced it with the B&B PRTs.

Magnaflow x-pipe makes mine sound like a british v6. Glad I bought this piece on sale!

The Magnaflow is an excellent X-pipe. The Borlas are REALLY loud without an X-pipe. The X-pipe will turn the volume down a little. The Borlas sound like your Z06 Ti's only a LOT louder. I would say 4 to 5 times as loud as what you have now.

You can always add the X-pipe later if you think it is to loud.

When I installed my x-pipe, it stopped most of the resonance and popping noise. Well worth the money.
