Default keyless remote

I called the dealerships around here and they want $50 to program a remote. Is there another way to do this?
Thx

$50:mad That is nuts.

Stand next to the car and hold the unlock & lock buttons simultaneously for at least 7 seconds (I think). The car should blink and the remote should resync. There is a more detailed way to do it through the options button on the DIC. The details are in the manual. It takes all of 30 seconds.

I just did mine and it was easy, the horn blipped and the it was done after just holding the buttons like the previous post said, my battery died after almost 4 years and that initiated the reprogram . :seeya
