Re: Long tube headers Vs Shorty headers (MC TORCH RED)
longtubes for sure, shorty's are a waste of $ :yesnod:
Couldn't agree more, shortys are not much better than your stock manifolds.

Re: Long tube headers Vs Shorty headers (Diego M)
There is a short tube header that has a CARB number for California, but aside from that, the 2001-2003 exhaust manifold flows just as good as shorties. For LT headers, the LGM setup seems to be the way to go to get real numbers. All the other LT's are in the same HP ballpark.

Re: Long tube headers Vs Shorty headers (Diego M)
As far as I know, not all LT's need welding. I'm planning on TPIS LT's, Random Tech high flow cats, and Random Tech x-pipe, to go with my B&B PRT's. From seeing an article on the place where I plan to take my Vette to get the work done, no welding was required. I'm guessing that just depends on the total package you're putting in.
