Default Reset computer after oil change question.

How do I change the percentage back to 100% after changing the oil on my 2000?? Change it last week and I am getting annoyed with the change oil soon warning.

Thanks

Well you could read your manual :D or you can turn your key to the on position (motor not running) and pump the gas pedal 3 times.

You can also display the oil life indicator on the DIC and then press and hold the reset button.

Thank to all who replied. I was sure I could have looked it up in my manual but when you have all the great people here who will give me a quick answer, sometimes this is better.

In the morning when I head out for work I will be doing the pedal pump...lol.

Thanks again

pump the gas pedal 3 times.

What's wrong with just reseting the DIC? Why pump the gas three time? I'm just wondering.
