Do a search on the RAM clutches as they are good up to the 750RWHP mark from what I can remember..

Now, I'm *only* making a measely 400rwhp, but I just got a mcleod dual disk installed and I am loving it. I was previously running the stock z06 clutch, and to honest, I don't think it ever harnessed all of the power I was making after my cam install.

The car feels much faster now, and I know its not all coming from that 3"xpipe I had installed along with the clutch. The mcleod is obviously transmitting every last bit of power possible. Thankfully, it daily drives just fine, especially after all the horror stories I had heard of runaway clutch engagements at low speed. Mine does engage a little higher in the pedal range than stock, but it only takes a day or so of driving to relearn.

BLU-BY-U, would it be possible for you to adjust the engagement point, since you presumedly have an adjustable master cylinder?

CJS,

When I first got the McCleod dual disk installed, the engagement point was still little too high even with the master cylinder adjusted all the way.

But this engagement point will drop down lower after you put a few hundred miles on the clutch. :)

CJS, I think Tuan covered it.

MTI did the install and said it would be a little higher, but would "settle" in over time. I've only got 150 miles on it, so it's still really new. But I'm working on it... :D

Our G2 Heavy Duty clutch is 20lbs lighter than stock and good to 800HP.
