We are putting together a fund to get Rom a brick at the NCM.
Here is a link all about it.

William and Rob,
Thank you very much. This tragic event has changed my life in alot of ways. I am a better man because of this.
Romolo is in a better place than all of us right now.

Re: Let us pray for our Romolo(My00C5)
I have a little more information on the events leading up to the trip when the accident occured.
In the "it's a small world category", I shared the news with some folks at Raceway Park who in turned shared it with another at the track. This second person knows someone, James Young (a racer a Raceway Park), who works for the same company as Romolo did.
They were all on the way to a retirement party for someone they worked with. How said that a trip to celebrate a completion of work career ended such a young vibrant life.
This is all I know right now.

He deserves it Mark.
More importantly no race news on the page until we put our friend to rest.

Let us pray for our Romolo(My00C5)
I am coming to the wake tomorrow with Corzvette69. The pain of this is really setting in.
I can still remember this day in my new signature. It was when Max was driving His car.

It's such a shame when a young person does not get to live out their life, and fulfill their tremendous potential.
:(
Justin....
For as long as the horrible thoughts of that night will be in your head, the family and friends of Rom will have good thoughts in their heads about your compassion and efforts to help their loved one. :)

I didn't know about this guy till I got to CArtek friday afternoon to drop the car off. They all talked about how a great guy he was and he will soley missed. Sounded like a great guy. It is unforunate that I didn't have the opportunity to meet the guy. My condolenses go out to his friends and family

R.I.P Romolo.
I never had the opportunity to meet this remarkable individual. It's clear from how people loved him that he made a wonderful difference to all that met him, even if it was for a short while. This is the thread we all hope will be started for us when our time comes.
Let's all try to learn from one of the nicest members of our Vette family. Be kind and try to make a difference as Romolo did and continues to do. :blueangel:
