Default How do you get rid of the SERVICE VEHICLE SOON message on the DIC?

Soon after a Tire Sensor went bad, I started getting the SERVICE VEHICLE SOON message. I just replaced the sensor, but the message still pops up on the DIC every time I start the car. Oil life is 22%. What is causing this message? How can I stopping from coming On?

BTW... Many thanks to the Replies on tire sensors. Since the car is 5 years old, I bought a new sensor on {Non-supporting vendor}.com for $86 and Big10 Tires installed it at no cost.

It can be turned off by a Tech II (dealer or wealthy friend). Otherwise, depending on what set it off and whether a problem still exhists, it will go off with xxx number of ignition cycles. Usually either 50 or 100, I think.
Pull your codes and check for "C" current codes.

Hi, to also turn the light off the DIC systemmay work.

Turn ignition on, let Digitial Information Guage doall it messgaes then press any button until there is no message on the screen. Then press and hold options and within 4 seconds pres fuel 4 times. That enteres the system. Run through the memu and see if a code is listed.Make note of the code and to clear it press reset.

Then one can see if you have a current code or if it was left over and not cleared during the repair.

A search should offer more specifics if this brief writing is not clear enough.

Good hunting.

Kenny,
I got to the system and at it scrolled thru a lot of numbers. At one point it displayed NO CODES.
At another point it displayed:
B0-RFA- C2105H
B0-RFA- C2110H
B0-RFA- C2115H

How do I find out what theses codes mean? Is there a list of codes someone can send me? Or a link to point to on the web?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Adrain,
My pleaseure...here ya go...
The "H" means history go ahead and clear the codes by pressing reset.
1) C2105 Right Front Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Malfunction.
2) C2110 Right Rear Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Malfunction.
3) C2115 Left Rear Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Malfunction.

"If one or more sensors do not transmit information, the code for said sensor will be sent to the DIC"

Once reset, please let us know the check engine light went out..for good!

Adrian,
Do all four of your tire pressure sensors read good in the DIC? My nderstanding is you need to "retrain" the new tire sensor - maybe the message is from not retraining the new sensor?

Steve,
All 4 tire sensors have been re-trained. They all work now.

Just for the hell of it, I'd re-set my oil life, maybe below a certain %, it gives the message. You can do this by turning on ignition, and pressing accelertor 4 times (I think). Good luck and let us know what finally fixes it.
