Default 2002 dual climate control display

Heat and ac work but display is blank. What say ya?
I tried using search but evidently I’m a dork cause I can’t seem how to just search C5 info and all I get is unrelated returns… do I something wrong so if this has been asked a million time I apologize

It is a VERY common problem. If you are good at soldering, you can fix it yourself. But it is easier to ship it to someone to fix. Here is one:

Perfect!, I watched a video I found on the tube and think I can handle that solder myself. Gonna give it a whirl this weekend. If not I’ll be contacting the fixer for sure….thanks again

it is a big and very common problem. My 2002 displsy is very dim. When i get my daily fit for daily again i think ill send mine out. Searching also provides me mostky non related returns, not on topic and for the wrong car.its very frustrating. I akways use my phone so maybe searching these forums at the top of the forum with the magnifying glass on the phone, is not the best. Is there a how to effectively search thread anywhere?

That's a general problem with this entire website because all generations of corvettes are referred by two characters ( C5/C6/C8 etc) and the search function rejects anything with 2 or less.

There is an advanced search option which lets you search for specific terms within specific forum sections which would be your best bet

It does what it does. Forum has been a game changer for me while working on my cars. Just thought maybe I was missing something a feature maybe that was robbing me of searching for topics without asking the same questions that may have been asked again and again….. guess I’ll stick to asking anew…….may be a good refresher afterall

Thank you. Can you use advanced search on the cell phone or just computer? If yes how do you get there? That may be my problem.

Default Heat/AC display

There are several good videos on Youtube on how to repair the heat/ac display. I plan to repair my 02 myself this Spring.

You CAN access this on your phone if you switch from mobile to "view full site." It's on the first page where you can select forums, log out, my recent topics, etc. Just go to "view full site." Hope I was clear enough, and this helps!

that screenshot is from my ipad...i don't use computers as much either (work notwithstanding)

as grinder said, just change your settings on your phone from the mobile version to the full site and you can see more options
