Passenger headlight opens half way sometimes
It's happened twice now in the last 2 days, intermittently. I turn the headlights on and the passenger side opens half way and stops. No noises are heard inside the car. If I turn the headlights off and on again it opens fully. Driver side operates normally. Is this a common problem with an easy fix? If not, where to start?

Happens to me every now and then also.. but it always opens.. Best to not drive Corvette at night anyway since GM lighting sucks and it's a dangerous hazard to the car and ones eyeballs. 😏

Moved to C5 Tech. BTW, it does sound like the headlight gear is the problem and needs to be replaced.

Before replacing anything, suggest making sure the connection from the motor with the control module connectors inside are tight. After I had my headlight motor replaced, I raising issues with it. The cure was assuring the connectors were tight. Another option the digging into the motor if you are not a DIY'er, just replace the motor,.
