I ran 13.05 in my bone stock 99 M6. The only trip to the track and got a couple 13.0x's and and the other 4 or 5 runs werer 13.1's and 13.2's. I think with a couple of more runs I could have got a 12.

100% stock top to bottom I did 13.01 @ 108.?? Boy did I want to get to 12's but never did.

I have not actually run an event 1/4, but I feel very strongly that my drive train were built on a good day, and that I have one of the fastest stock C5's ever... I going with that! Everyone should feel the same! :steering:

exactly my point. I think 114 too high for a STOCK c5. I dont doubt 12s one bit, ive seen it done on a car with runflats, a 97 coupe... 12.89 @109.8 was the time. :cheers: :grouphug:

ok....stock '97-00 M6 vs a stock '96 LT4 will be a DAMN CLOSE Race :D
The LT4 is a very strong engine and underrated in it's only year at 330 :cheers:

With a stick, the non Z06 optiond C5 is good for 110-4 in very good conditions, with good or luckie racer. When I have gotten to drive other's cars for some runs, I typicaly pickup 1-6mph over the runs they made that day. With the adition of raceing experience C5's are FAST cars. Your mph may vary. :cheers: Ric
Oh the LT4 is great eh. The 96 that year weighs about 200 lbs (i think) more than the c5. maybe more lb than that. And it runs similar times. quite impressive. IMHO the lt4 makes about 355-365 hp at the crank

My stock C5 with 2.73s ran a 9.9@145MPH... ;)
after all, some c4 owner swears that his stock 93 goes 12s at 110 mph, i figure its possible.
My 93 goes 11.2 @ 126 BONE STOCK

My best is a 13.40@107mph, with a '99 six speed. Average is 13.50s, without pushing too hard. Problem is hooking up with stock tires. 60' is usually 2.0-2.3 sec. Kind of inconsistent.
