Sway bar metal end links OEM???
I looked at a 02 coupe and it had metal end links on the sway bars front and back, when I questioned the owner he said they were factory.I'm not doubting him,I just had never seen them made like that.I have done gear installs on a couple of 02's and they had the plastic style. Can anyone fill me in on this?

My '00 had metal on the front and plastic on the rear from the factory, so I bought the "factory" end links and installed them on the rear. Maybe this is what he did also.

the aluminum endlinks became standard on all 2002 Production Vettes, and they were from the z06. Steel endlinks are not OEM but can be purchased as necessary.

I think that steel end links were part of the Z51 package on earlier cars. My 01 had plastice, but the Z51 bars I bought from an 00 were steel. Notice if the cars have the Z51 option on them or not - it is related.
The steel were almost double the price of the aluminum ones and have almost become obsoleted by them.
Fitchner Z06 bars now come with the aluminum links and that was the main reason behind the now lower price for that option vrs a year ago.
