Cartek Stage 2 Heads and Cam Ordered, I have a questions
I have ordered the Cartek stage 2 LS-1 head and cam package last week, . The suggested cam was the "H" cam, Int: 222 Exh" 226 @ 0.50 with 0.567" lift on a 113 LSA . Heads milled to 10.8 CR . I also went with 7.350" hardened push rods. Long Tube headers, Random technology high flow cats, Corsa Indy exhaust, LS-6 intake, Vortex cold air intake, BPP air bridge and coupler, Granetelli MAF, Ported throttle body, 170 degree thermostat, 3:73 rear end gear, 2002 ZO-6 clutch/flywheel and pressue plate, and last but not least a custom ECU calibration by Cartek.
Question: How much power can I hope to make at the rear wheels ?
Will this cam cause drivability problems on the street?
Slightly rough idle is not a problem as long as it will idle at or below 1000 rpm.

hoty2k...you wont be disappointed...i had this cam on my first set-up...you should be in the 440"s you should use the cartek clutch...not the z06.....
you will not have any drivability issues....
idle will be at 900 rpms
welcome to the team....

Didn't you ask Cartek these questions before you ordered?

I had these exact heads and cam from Cartek which always put me into the 11s on my 98 C5 A4. (see sig. below.) Thru my A4 i put down between 375 to 384rwhp and thru your A4 you should pull around 410rwhp thru you M6.
Brent, the Stage II heads/cam he ordered are the older heads/cams that cartek was selling 1.5 to 2 years ago and certainly is not the x-package that you and others have had HUGE success with making 440to460rwhp.
If you look at Carteks web page i believe they quote this set up this guy ordered having made 417rwhp thru a M6.
I had the H cam for 1.5 years and its a great cam with a nice noticable lope and 100% streetable. You will ned prof. tuning no doubt and then you will have no idling problems. These stage II heads and H cam have consisistently been good for mid to high 11 second runs depending on your set up, suspension, stall, driving technique if M6, tires, traction, etc.
YOU WILL BE HAPPY you made a good choice. For a little more money though i personally would have gone for their hottest set up the X package, etc. that has put Brent and C5 Pig into the high 10s! :smash:  on a stock bottom end.

thats the exact set-up i have had for two years now. since i have an A4 i only dynoed 376rwhp and 386 rwtq. i have not updated because i'm running times of 11.5's at the track but i'm looking into getting a better cam during this winter. although u will notice the cam it is very mild and extremely streetable. not my taste anymore since i'm looking into one that will really make me tremble while i'm driving.

Your package is a very mild set up,you should have no drivability problems and still be over 400RWHP with proper tuning, the reason why Peach is not making the power is because the car isn't tuned right, hey Peach have you ever run your car at the track or are you one of these guys who swears by dyno numbers.

I was just wondering if you had the package installed, yet? What kind of numbers did you actually get?
I am going with the same package. . .
