Upper transmission line replacement
The upper transmission line comes over the top then dives down in front of the idler pulley. Over time this line has been wearing against the pulley bolt and is now leaking.
Has anyone replace this line before or knows what is involved? I am very capable but can't for the life of me see how it would be done without removing many many items including the exhaust and/or oil pan.
HELP!

You may have better luck posting this in the tech section. I suspect that this will be pretty in depth job that may require the removal of several other components. Good luck!

My .02 is just go with a hydraulic line (#6AN, IIRC). That's probably best, easiest, and most economical at this point. If you want to keep it totally original, please flush my 02!!
