Default Car wont start with driveline removed

i’m in the middle of a rear main seal and clutch job and removed the entire driveline to do so, i want to run the engine as is to verify that theres no leaks before putting it all back together. engine only cranks but wont fire on. very positive its a fueling issue because theres no priming coming from the fuel pump when key is turned to on position. not sure what i missed but i’ve checked the ground on the block by the oil filter and the back of the frame inside the rear driver wheel well and nothing seems out of place. not sure what else could be causing the fuel pump to not work and would like some advice.

When you drop the drive train you usually have to disconnect a ground lug at G401. It is on the frame behind the LR wheel, find the wire with the eye attach it and the fuel pump will work.. That is about the only thing I can think of.

Possibly Connector 402 (C402) may be disconnected. I believe it runs alongside the transaxle then over it. Trace the wiring from the fuel pump forward. It's a 10 pin connector I believe. The location is between trans harness and fuel tank jumper harness but no pic I can find.

The more I think about starting an engine that is only supported by the engine mounts and probably a block of wood and a jack, the less I think it is a good idea at all.

Weird, i had no problem starting mine with everything pulled.

I would put 12v dirrectly to pump or check to make sure ur getting 12v to pump. Weird things happen, pump could of took a dump. Does hurt to check.JMO.

i’d rather not reassemble the entire car just to find out it still leaks
