Default Questions regarding Airbag Disconnect kit p/n 88895108

I acquired a NOS airbag disconnect kit. GM p/n 88895108. I want to install passenger airbag disconnect in my 2000 C5 Corvette (pewter with black interior). The kit comes with a wiring harness with the disconnect switch hardwired to the harness, an additional small harness with "airbag disconnected" indicator light, a box with a belt kit (GM p/n 10434373). Additionally there are instructions, zipties and some assorted minor parts in the box. The instructions state that the cars that came without airbag disconnect came with a seat belts that won't work well in the event that a crash happens and an airbag does not deploy. Consequently, the instructions imply that airbag disconnect must be installed together with a seat belt designed to work without an airbag. When I opened the box with the belt I discovered that the belt mechanism is clearly marked "driver". When I look through the catalog online this belt indeed comes up as "BELT, DRIVER SEAT(RETRACTOR SIDE)(BLACK). Fitting Vehicle Options: Y07(AK5,AX4,19I)(EXPORT)". I am guessing that I got a driver's side airbag disconnect kit instead of the passenger side. The instructions mention that people with certain medical conditions must disable the airbags.

Since the kits are no longer available, I would like to use the above kit for retrofitting passenger airbag disable switch to my 2000 C5 that does not have it. Should I assume that I will need to buy a "passenger side seat belt (retractor side) black" for 2001 and later C5 for my installation? I believe that late 2000 cars and all 2001-2004 cars came with airbag disconnect switches? So if I get a late model passenger side belt, I should be good to go?

The kit and the instructions are generic. They seem to imply (without explicitly stating it) that the kit is usable for driver or passenger side air bag on a number of GM cars of that era including C4 corvettes, Pickups, Vans and Cavalier. There were a few GM airbag disconnect kits for C5 corvette. Was the difference between them in the color and side of the seatbelt supplied with the kit?

Additionally, can somebody recommend a GM dealer or a corvette specialist in New England that can do the job without messing it up? This is one of those jobs where I would rather hire someone competent and experienced.
