Abs & traction control
On my 99 FRC last week the ABS and Traction Control symbols came on along with messages to check both. The car was running running well - no problems. When I stopped, ran errands, and restarted the car - everything was normal. Today the same sequence happened. Could this be a glitch, or a forerunner of major problems? I haven’t pulled codes. In the past I have had quirky little things like this come and go with different systems. The car has 93k and is well maintained.
Any quick thoughts/suggestions?

? - can high temperatures and high humidity play havoc with the our Vette’s electrical system? The temperature has been consistently over 90 and the humidity 80+%.

Melting Slicks
Until you pull the DTC's there can be no answers, the codes will tell you where to look. If you do not know how to pull the codes on a C5 Corvette, there are hundreds of videos on youtube to show you how. Regarding heat and humidity, Corvettes run very well in Miami, New Orleans, and St. Louis with much higher temps/humidity than what you are experiencing.
