Default Another harmonic balancer...

Doing a replacement on my garage queen '97 coupe with 22K miles. The damper started separating and chirping. I'm replacing with a Powerbond race series. I found a few loose bolts when dropping the steering rack and noticed 2 missing bolts from the leaf spring brackets, one on each side. Is this a common occurance to lose bolts from critical areas? I'll be taking everything out and applying blue loctite for sure. I also noticed a groove worn into the old damper snout from the seal as well as a small oil leak. Is this a common thing? Yes,I am replacing the seal.

Are you the original owner? Looks like someone's been in there before you and botched the job.

I'm the second owner, never touched by anybody other than the dealer.
