This is an awesome deal. These headers are clearly one of the best out there. The performance gains are awesome even with a stock motor...

I picked up about a tenth and 1 mph over the RK Sports with these headers. Plug access is better than the stock manifolds. They are a work of art.

You also can't beat the deal Tom is offering. :yesnod:

I am interested if we can get the GP price. I would be installing these myself. Is there any welding that needs to be done with these??? Also how easy is the install (ie. removing starter etc)
I have a 01 also. bklee@ec.rr.com

Some configurations require welding and some don't. We have an application guide in the C5/Z06 SLP header listing that will help guide you through the different options available. The only configuration that really requires welding if on the 2000-'02 cars that will only be using the headers and H-downpipe.

If you would like to get in on the GP you can place your order on our website or by calling 1-877-4-TBYRNE. We have this listed in the GP section of the site.

Thanks,
Tom

I have SLP from the headers back to the loudmouth and have been very happy. I picked up 34 horsepower by adding headers/xpipe/cats and z06 manifold.

How's the sound? How about the resonance? I've got the loudmouths right now, and yes, they're loud. :D :D :D There is also a fair amount of resonance between 2500-3000. Does the X-pipe eliminate this as advertised?

p0rtmonkey: Are you going to do the headers only or would you like to replace the cats/pipes between them and the Loudmouth?

Question I have a 2000 M6, I already have a Bassani x-pipe and Daytona Corsa exhaust, will this be a simple bolt on, or do I have to weld anything on? I prefer bolt on if possible. By the way great price on the GP.

I was wanting to get the headers, but i'm not sure what all i'd have to buy to get them to work with my loudmouths. Would I have to by the downpipe or xpipe or the highflow cats... or could I just buy the headers?

If I have an '02, what else will I need besides the headers and the install kit? I don't want to remove the cats, will I need this h-downpipe?

Default Re: SLP header GP (Patman36)

Patman36: If you would like to mate these up to the stock cats you will need part numbers 30061, 30062 and 30068.

p0rtmonkey: You can go with the same parts as Patman36 if you want to use your stock converters. These parts are headers, installation kit and H-downpipe.

2KVetteMan: If you go with the parts listed above they will be a slip fit to the headers and need to be welded to the cats. If you go with one of the 30064 or 30065 H/X pipes they will allow it to be a bolt in install with no welding required.

There was a little confusion after our SLP sale came together so I just want to clear things up. In most cases the 15% off sale with free shipping ends up being a little cheaper than the GP price that was listed. So the breakdown for pricing will be -

30060
1997-2000 SLP C5 long tube headers
$679.99

30061
2001-'02 SLP C5 long tubes headers
$679.99

30062
1997-'02 SLP header installation kit
$84.99

30063
1997-'02 High flow cats
$365.49

30064
1997-'02 X-Pipe/Resonator Assembly
$314.49

30065
1997-'02 H-Pipe/Balance Tube Assembly
$220.99

30066
1997-'02 Adaptor Kit - use w/ P/N: 30064
$25.49

30067
1997-'02 H-down pipe (slip fit)
$144.49

30068
2000-'02 H--Downpipe, 2000-02 C-5 Corvette use w/ Stock Cat. Converters
$144.49

No offer will be ending on Wednesday (12/3) and no minimum is required. All of the sale products will be ordered from SLP on 12/4.

Hope this helps,
Tom

Default Re: SLP header GP (tbyrne)

Hmmm, I'm very interested but I have a few questions needing answers first:
1. Are all the spark plugs accessible with a socket for removal/exchange?
2. I want the SLP headers to fit up (ie. bolt up, no welding) with my Corsa X-pipe and Corsa Indy mufflers. Will pn 30060 and 30062 suffice?
3. I'm confused about the pricing. On the vetteforum, you mention price of $679.99 for pn 30060 but on your company's website, the same pn on gp is $629.99
4. When will this gp close and when will the headers be delivered? When will the charge be placed on the credit card?

Thanks,
Dario
