LG Motorsports is pleased to announce our much anticipated big brake kit for the C5. You asked for it, and now you're getting it! For anyone who has ever considered upgrading the brakes on your C5, it's time!

Our kit is currently for the front only and is designed to maximize the braking performance of the C5 without braking the bank at the same time. Additionally our brake kit will work with standard C5 rotors, Eradispeeds, or other stock replacement rotors.

The kit will clear the Z06 wheel with plenty of clearance, and most aftermarket wheels also. Some wheels will need a small spacer and longer studs, which we will supply.

Our kit includes billet aluminum Wilwood 6-piston calipers up front with a street/competition pad*, drilled/slotted/zinc washed rotors, radial mount brackets, ARP studs, shims, aircraft quality "Jet Nuts", front SS brake lines, and all the necessary fittings and hardware.

The "G-Stop" package available now (front only) is available to Corvette Forum members at an introductory price of $1499**. The front caliper kit by itself for Corvette Forum members without the rotors is $1299**.

For the street drivers the stock rears are fine. For those that race their car we offer a rear pad for the stock calipers that balance out the braking bias with the G-stop front kit a little better.

We are developing a rear 4-piston kit for the dedicated racers and enthusiasts that can be added on later. All of our testing has shown this front kit to be significant upgrade in brake performance while not noticeably effecting the brake bias. Remember the fronts do most of the work anyways and our goal was to make a kit in this price range.

How fast can you ship them...will they work with my CCW's...if so then how do you want to be paid...How much for the Front Caliper/Rotor and rear Pad?????

Yes they will work with the CCW's or any other after market wheel and are available for immediate shipping. We supply longer studs and a shim just in case you need them. The HPS pads for the stock calipers are 89.00. Call the shop tomorrow AM for a complete quote including tax, shipping, and rear pads.

Ok I just called and spoke with Lou. Give him a call tomorrow and he will have you make some measurements on the CCW's to make sure they clear.

Allright Jeremy I can call John @ CCW and confirm too, once I call Lou. Whats your number...I was just looking at Steve's (Vetterdstr's) brakes a couple weeks ago,,,and was thinking, "I really need to upgrade my brakes".

Basically Lou will need to know the distance from the caliper to the spoke - how much clearance is available. These 6-piston calipers are significantly larger than stock. I told Lou you will give him a call tomorrow - 972-272-7753.

The Dilusi kit (just front) is more than twice as much as ours and includes larger 13.6" rotors I believe. Dilusi does not own or have exclusive agreements with Wilwood. Our kit has been specifically designed to use stock size rotors. We have worked with Wilwood in producing these calipers just for the C5 to our specs. During the development of our kit we have tested and proven it on the track.

Please post when you get an update on the CCW wheel measurements. I'd measure, but they aren't installed.

I swap to an 18x10 front for play time.
