I left my 99 beauty in the garage for a little too long and the battery went dead. The previous owner installed a battery charger so I plugged it in and a few days later she started back up like nothing ever happened.
However now I got the "service ABS" "service TC" warnings, and both TC and ABS are illuminated on the dash. After a bit of browsing I came upon this thread, and downloaded the PDF that's called "tutorial for A-H, TC, and abs problems."

Has anyone got this error after a battery died? Just looking for ideas before I start taking the EBCM and BPMV apart.. hoping there's some reset I can do that will clear it, and not hardware problems that I'll have to diagnose and replace.

Write down codes and then clear them. Maybe the light will go out.

When you do this, be sure to write down all codes (DTC’s) and post them here. Don’t clear them until you are sure you got them all. There are some awesome experts that monitor the tech threads here that can really help with some great advice.

I agree many forum members can help you out once we have the codes. Could be a wheel sensor or even ground problem. Many reasons for codes beside Ecbm failures.

Also make sure your battery is good and 100% charged and all connections are good.. Low voltage can cause some problems with these cars.

I just thought that the problem began with a dead battery. Maybe the battery is still the problem.
