Default Is this mirror fixable?

I'm on my second electrochromatic side view mirror. The PIC shows what happens to these eventually. I'm assuming this is not fixable and I might best off snapping in a standard mirror?

Put some 2" adjustable blindspot mirrors on over the blemish
