Default P0452 code- Need Help

I have a 2004 A4 that is due for inspection. The SES light is on and I'm getting: P0452 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

in searching this code all say to replace gas cap.
I cleared the code and replaced the gas cap and drove.
Still getting the code. What could the cause be?

No one else has dealt with this? I thought it would be the gas cap since the one on there was old and didn't seem to really lock in. I replaced it with a new one but still have the code.

emissions trouble shooting is difficult without the proper tools. if nothing is visually broken, its gonna turn into replacing one thing at a time until its fixed.

with the right tools i would pressurize your evap system with smoke and find the leak. if no leaks, replace the pressure sensor.
