Default Window motor shot

Is there any way to get the passenger window closed until I can replace the motor? I tried the trick of banging on the motor, not working. Door panel is off at this point so I do have access. Thanks for any suggestions.

Changed my mind, she's coming out, new motor is going in today. Wish me luck and please post any hints or wise cracks applicable. Thanks

Well, well, well, GM uses 2 different motors with different plugs, but the same part number. Parts manager says there is a note in the book saying if the plug doesn't fit you need to order the adapter. Should be in Monday late afternoon. I knew everything went too easy.

I suppose I am a little late to tell you to take care with the plastic fasteners.

No, not really. I broke 1 of them previously, but being 14 years old that plastic is brittle. But that does remind me to pick up a package of clips at the parts counter.
