Default LS6 intake fitment

Will a LS6 intake from a 2004 GTO fit my 2002 Vette Conv. A4 without modifications.
Thank you.

I believe you already have a ls6 motor in your car. Is your intake broken ?

Agreed. Your car should have a LS6 intake on it from the factory.

Can you look at it and tell us the part number? Here's an example.

Look for what's in the pix above. LS6 intake is PN 12573572.

I'm sorry. Didn't mean to mislead. I have a 2002 Corvette Conv. LS1 motor.

You should still have an 'LS6' intake. They put it on all vette motors starting in 2002

Default LS6 intake fitment

Wow! I did not know that. I nearly bought one a few minutes ago off Ebay.
Thank you, very much.

Now I wonder how much more I don't know. I sold my 99 conv. (2) years ago. I had quite a few performance modifications on that. It was quick! I want this 2002 quicker.

Before I do any more purchases, I better investigate more on what I have. I assumed it was the same as the 99.

Thanks, again.
