We're looking to move some cams out the door, so we're going to have a sale! It will be your choice of the G2 or the G5 camshafts. The G2 is a single-pattern 224 duration @ .050" on a 113 LSA. The G5 is a split-duration cam that will make a few more HP over the G2 and have a more aggressive idle. It is on a 112 LSA. The price is $899, and it will come with the following:
*G2 or G5 camshaft
*Manley 221423-16 valve springs; good for .600" lift
*Manley 23632-16 titanium valve spring retainers
*Manley hardened 7.4" length pushrods
*new crankshaft bolt
*new waterpump gasket
*GM Poster with hugger orange Camaro SS and yellow WS-6 TA

C5-VERT and redbob - The price for just the cam will be $395 during the sale. This is the lowest price we've ever sold the G5 for. :)

QUIKAG and leegina- The complete kit is $899. You would be looking at an additional $650 for the install. Custom computer tuning is $450 for the 98-00 and $500 for the 01-02's. With the tuning, we will take care of EVERYTHING needed to make the car and driver happy while making the best HP and TQ possible. We will raise the rev limiter, adjust shift points for the autos, tune the air/fuel mixture for the new setup, raise the idle, etc. I always recommend custom PCM tuning when you swap cams. This way you have an optimized setup making the best power possible, and it's more streetable for you to drive with the raised idle, etc. Our last G5 cam-only car was a 2001 Firehawk Trans Am with all of the bolt-ons (headers, induction, crankshaft pulley, induction lid with K&N), and it put down 390 RWHP at 6,000 RPM! :eek: It would have likely made a few more HP had it been taken up a little higher. So, to answer your question, the total price with tuning, install, Texas sales tax, and the cam kit would be $2,123.17 for the '01 and '02's and $2,073.17 for the 98-00's. If you're out of state, you will be looking at $1,999 for the 98-00's and $2,049 for the 01-02's. You guys out of state get to save on the governor's fee! :cool:

With that cam, valvetrain, and tuning; You would leave SKNR behind:D!! (and still be somewhat reliable) Sounds like a good call to me. But i did have one question for you or LG. Is $2100 or so a SALE price for a cam, installation, and tuning?? Keep in mind, i am ONLY asking. :cheers: :seeya

Yes, it IS a sale price! The camshaft package that we are offering is discounted $100 off of the normal price. We've also discounted the labor for install. Don't forget that you have to drop the steering rack on a C5 for a cam swap. You're not just getting products from LG Motorsports; you're also getting excellent service. There is a LOT to be said for service, especially when you experience a sale without it. :)

dont forget about one of the ORIGINAL G5 cars .... my 02 WS6 pours out 395 and 376 and is an AUTO !!!!!!!
