Default Air Conditioner Noise, but still blows cold?(soundclip)

Hi folks- My car is 2003 c5z, ac is cold and works fine, its just very loud only when cycled on. Since all is cold, i'd like to know if this could be a clutch/pulley bearing.
I'm thinking there is a remote chance the noise only shows when this pulley sees a load.
Please don't tell me to just "replace compressor", i'll do that once i know its not the ac clutch/pulley bearing.

BTW, i just replaced the ac belt, idler and tensioner pulley and it didn't change the noise at all.

Anyone experience this situation that can discern if this noise is just a compressor clutch/ bearing pulley only?

Video starts with normal idle for 10 sec, then i cycle ac on and off, with ac on, its noisy. Post up if you can help! Thanks!

My guess is the compressor. If you have an engine stethoscope you can isolate it. Any auto parts store should have one, probably ten bucks.

If I remember right that's about what my compressor sounded like before it went. Bought a new OEM compressor on Amazon.

I think after weighing my options and the risk of potentially not fixing the noise ... I'm gonna bite the bullet and replace the compressor . Thanks
