Yesterday I fired up my 03. Vert . Started right but did n't sound right.
After a few minutes I put it in Dr. And. the DIC. Tells me the engine is running on reduced power . Tried reset but no luck . Dis connected the battery for a reboot . No luck . When I prept it and put it way for the winter she was running perfectly . Anyone out there ever have this problem ??

My guess is you have low battery voltage. The C5 needs 12.5 to operate properly at startup before charging. The electronics are very sensitive to voltage.

A fully charged battery should be 12.6v or more. Sounds like weak battery.

It's not 12 volts it's 12.6 because each cell is 2.1 volts.

If the battery is

12.5 = 85% charged
12.4 = 65%
12.3 = 50%
12.2 = 35%
12.1 = drained

Ok, guys thanks I will check that . Battery was on a tender all winter but it won 't hurt to double check it .
